Our Team

Optometrist

Dr. Jade Himmelsbach found her passion for optometry growing up in Clackamas, and working as an optician while going to school at Portland State University. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University where she was an active member in Amigos. As a student Dr. Jade went on humanitarian trips to Costa Rica and Guatemala where she provided free eyecare to over a thousand underserved locals on three separate trips. Before working at Multnomah Vision Clinic, Dr. Jade was the clinical director for a LASIK clinic, and continues to actively comanage for LASIK, PRK and cataract surgery. A few of Dr. Jade’s specialties include contact lenses, patient education, and providing a memorable eye examination experience. She enjoys getting to know her patients so she can better serve their visual needs. Outside the exam room, Dr. Jade enjoys spending time outdoors with her young sons, karaoke, and discovering new places to experience around town. Dr. Jade is an active member of the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association (OOPA).

Lead Optician

If something needs to be done at Multnomah Vision Clinic, Kylie will know how to handle it. She has worn every hat from front desk, to technician, to optician. Kylie enjoys getting to know her patients and finding out the best frame styles and lens enhancements to meet their needs. As the fluent insurance translator as well as expert fashion consultant, you are in good hands when ordering glasses with Ky.

Billing Specialist

The insurance wizard, and billing specialist at Multnomah Vision Clinic is Cassandra. Cass has been behind the scenes for several years not just with insurance, but as the patient care coordinator for email and text correspondence. If anyone has a question Cass is the person to find the answer.

Optician

Sierra is our additional Optician with her great sense of style and attention to detail for our patients. On top of her wonderful patient care, she is our Social Media super star, always keeping our patients up to date with what we might be up to here at the clinic. Community engagement is in good hands with Sierra on board. 

Patient Coordinator & Technician

Schuy is our newest addition to the MVC line up, and our enthusiastic first stop in the clinic. She's got a contagious smile as she gets our patients into the groove of their appointments, & keeps our team on track. From playing games in the arcade with each patient, to scheduling & diving into any mysteries we may have, Schuyler is versatile & proactive. We're excited to have her!
